    Find your reservation:

    In My Trips at united.com or in the United app you'll need your confirmation number (a six-character code) and last name. Keep it handy — we'll ask for it too.

    Add bags, seats and extras:

    Most extras can be added after booking, often more cheaply than at the airport. Adding them in advance is the smart move — especially seats on a Basic Economy fare.

    Fix details:

    Minor corrections like a spelling fix are frequently possible; bigger changes may need a reissue and get harder close to departure, so don't wait.

    Add your MileagePlus number:

    Adding your MileagePlus number means you earn miles and any Premier benefits apply. Easy to miss, easy to add.

    Change or cancel:
