1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They let a site remember your preferences, recognize you on return visits, and help site owners understand how their site is used. We also use similar technologies, such as local storage, which work in a comparable way.
2. How We Use Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies to: keep the site functioning correctly (for example, remembering your language choice); detect your approximate location so we can display the right local phone number; and, once configured, measure advertising performance and site usage through analytics and Google Ads conversion tracking.
3. Categories of Cookies
| Category | Purpose | Status |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly Necessary | Required for core site functionality — for example, remembering that you've opened the mobile deals drawer, or your session state while browsing. | Live |
| Functional | Remembers your language preference (English/Spanish) and, via a geo-IP lookup, your approximate country, so we can show the correct local toll-free number. | Live |
| Analytics | Helps us understand how visitors use the site (pages viewed, time on site) so we can improve it. Will use Google Analytics (GA4) once installed. | Planned |
| Advertising | Measures whether a visit from a Google Ads campaign resulted in a phone call, WhatsApp click, or call-back request, so we can measure ad performance. Will use Google Ads conversion tracking once installed. | Planned |
4. Third-Party Cookies
Some cookies are placed by third parties whose services we use or link to, including:
- ipapi.co — used to look up your approximate country from your IP address, so we can show the right local phone number.
- Kayak — if you use the flight search widget on our site, Kayak may place its own cookies, governed by Kayak's cookie and privacy policies.
- Google — once installed, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and Google Ads will place cookies described in Google's own privacy policy.
- WhatsApp / Meta — if you use our WhatsApp chat links, Meta's own cookies and privacy policy apply to that conversation.
5. How to Manage Cookies
Most browsers let you view, delete, and block cookies through their settings. Because Strictly Necessary and Functional cookies support core site features (like showing your correct local phone number), blocking them may affect how the site works. You can typically manage cookie settings from your browser's "Privacy" or "Site Settings" menu.
6. Do Not Track
Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" signal. There is currently no unified industry standard for how sites should respond to this signal, and our site does not currently change its behavior based on it.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy as we add or change the tools described above — most notably once analytics and advertising tracking are installed. Changes take effect once posted to this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
