American shortened its 24-hour refund window: you now need to book 7 days ahead
American quietly tightened its free 24-hour cancellation. It used to apply if you booked at least 2 days before departure; now the ticket must be booked at least 7 days out. Book closer in and that safety net no longer exists.
Delta's new "Basic" fares in premium cabins now carry change and cancel fees
Delta started selling a restricted "Basic" version inside its premium cabins, First Basic, Premium Select Basic and Basic Business. Unlike standard Main Cabin and above, these carry both a change fee and a cancellation fee, and they're far steeper than the regular Basic fee.
