Checking in for your Viva Aerobus flight

Check in at vivaaerobus.com or in the Viva app and save your boarding pass. With no bags to drop, that's the airport queue handled before you leave home.

For a domestic flight within Mexico, Viva accepts a valid passport, voter ID (INE), driver license or consular registration card. Bring the physical document, and if you're a Spanish speaker living in the US flying inside Mexico, the consular registration card is on that accepted list.

For international flights you need a valid passport plus whatever visa or migratory document your destination country requires, and confirming those is the traveler's responsibility. Check your destination's rules well before travel day, and ask us if you're not sure where to look.

Viva is point-to-point, and its Escala Express product is a self-connect, not a protected through-journey. If your itinerary uses it, plan to collect your checked bags and re-check them yourself between flights, and to clear any immigration in between. Build in time, a normal connection's buffers don't apply here.

A child under 2 flies free as a lap infant, with no baggage allowance of their own, or in their own paid seat using an FAA-recommended car seat. If you want the car-seat option, book the infant a seat, a lap infant doesn't get one.
