On Volaris's low fares, choosing a specific seat carries a charge, like almost everything else in the ultra-low-cost model. Skip it and you're assigned a seat at check-in, a gamble that works fine for solo travelers and badly for families. We'll confirm what your exact booking includes before you pay for anything twice.
Two verified bars: passengers under 15 cannot sit in emergency exit rows, and neither can pregnant passengers. If either applies to your group, pick other rows from the start rather than being moved at boarding.
Volaris's pet rules dictate seating: a dog in the cabin puts you at a window seat, any window except premium and exit rows, and a cat puts you at the last-row window specifically. Book the pet and the seat together so they can't contradict each other.
The Plus fare adds priority boarding and Volaris TV on top of its baggage and flexibility inclusions. On a one-cabin airline, that combination is the closest thing to a cabin upgrade Volaris sells.
