    The essentials. Availability and price depend on fare, route, aircraft and timing.

    Seat selection depends on fare:

    Higher fares often include complimentary seat selection; on lower XS/S fares choosing a specific seat usually costs extra or is assigned at check-in.

    Sitting together isn't automatic:

    If you're travelling as a family or group, book and select seats as early as you can — the best adjacent seats go first, especially on full routes.

    Preferred and extra-legroom seats:

    Bulkhead, exit-row and front-of-cabin seats carry a premium on most fares. They're limited, so they sell out on popular flights.

    Upgrading to business (XL/XXL):

    You may be able to upgrade at booking, later through manage-booking, with LifeMiles, or via an offer from the airline — availability varies a lot by route and day.
