Premium Class is Hawaiian's extra-legroom cabin, adding more room and priority service on the transpacific fleet. It's positioned between Main Cabin and First Class.
First Class gives the most room and service on transpacific routes. On Hawaiian's newest aircraft, it's served in lie-flat suites, an actual flat bed, not a recliner. Availability depends on the aircraft flying your route.

Main Cabin Basic, and why the flight length changes the decision
The fare and the flight both shape what you should expect.
On a short hop between the islands, the seat decision is mostly already made for you. Hawaiian's inter-island fleet flies a simpler cabin layout, so Main Cabin is what's on the plane, and the flight is quick enough that Premium Class and First don't enter the picture. The decision gets real on the long flight out over open ocean, to the mainland or across the Pacific. That's where Main Cabin, Premium Class and First Class stop being an abstract chart and start being hours in a specific seat. Main Cabin Basic complicates it further on either kind of trip: it's the same Main Cabin seat, sold on Hawaiian's most restricted fare, where seat choice is limited or assigned later instead of picked freely at booking.
