    Seat selection depends on your fare:

    Higher branded fares include or ease seat selection; Economy Basic typically assigns your seat late and doesn't allow free advance selection.

    Sitting together isn't automatic:

    If you're travelling as a family or group, book and select seats as early as you can — the best adjacent seats go first, especially on full flights.

    Preferred and extra-legroom seats:

    LATAM offers seats with more space or better location for a premium on most fares. They're limited and sell out on popular flights.

    Moving up to Premium Economy or Premium Business:

    You may upgrade at booking, later through your reservation, or with points where LATAM offers it — availability varies a lot by route and aircraft.

    LATAM Pass status helps:
