How Aeroméxico baggage generally works

An under-seat personal item is included on all fares, even domestic Light. On Light, that's the only bag included, full stop.
Domestic Light includes no carry-on (you can buy one). Basic includes a 10 kg carry-on. Classic and Flex include 15 kg. If you fly mostly within the US you may never have weighed a carry-on in your life, on Aeroméxico it can be weighed, and a packed roller often runs past 10 kg without feeling heavy.
Basic and Light include no checked bag, with an option of up to 25 kg purchasable. Classic and Flex include one bag of up to 25 kg and 158 linear cm.
Premier Basic includes one 32 kg bag; Premier Classic and Flex include two 32 kg bags, and three on flights to Asia. Premier One follows the same tiers.
If you're on Basic or Light and know you'll need the overhead bin or a suitcase, adding it in advance beats sorting it at the counter, in price and in stress. We can add it to your booking on one call.

Weigh your carry-on at home. A bathroom scale is enough: hold the bag, subtract yourself. If you're on Basic and it reads over 10 kg, repack or call us to add the allowance you actually need, cheaper and calmer than the counter.
