Aeroméxico's branded fares, from the most restricted up. Exact inclusions vary by route and aircraft.

Basic

The lowest, most restricted economy fare — non-refundable, with seat selection at extra cost and limited changes. Choose it only when the lowest price is what matters most.

Classic

The standard economy fare, with more flexibility than Basic and typically seat selection and a checked-bag allowance on many routes.

Flexible

The most flexible economy fare — changes with fewer restrictions, made for travelers whose plans might move.

AM Plus

A preferred-economy cabin with extra legroom and priority perks on the same aircraft as economy.

Premier

Clase Premier — Aeroméxico's business cabin, with a wider seat, premium service and, on eligible long-haul aircraft, lie-flat seating.

Baggage — the essentials

General guidance. Your exact allowance depends on your fare, route and Aeroméxico Rewards tier.

Carry-on:

Most fares include a carry-on plus a personal item. Basic still allows a carry-on on most routes — but always confirm for yours.

Checked bags:

Included on many Classic and higher fares and on most international routes; on Basic and domestic routes they're often charged by count and weight. Higher fares and status add allowance.

Overweight / oversize / special items:

Cheaper added in advance than at the airport. Sports gear and special items usually need advance arrangement.

Check-in & boarding

How to be ready on the day.

Aeroméxico online check-in on aeromexico.com and the Aeroméxico app generally opens well before departure and closes a set time before the flight. Airport bag-drop and boarding cutoffs vary by airport and by domestic vs. international — arrive earlier for international departures from and to Mexico.

Boarding is done by groups; Premier, AM Plus and higher Aeroméxico Rewards members board earlier, while Basic typically boards last.

Aeroméxico Rewards — the program formerly called Club Premier — lets you earn and redeem points on Aeroméxico and SkyTeam partners for flights, upgrades and more. How do I change or cancel my Aeroméxico flight?+

It depends on your fare. Flexible and Premier Flex fares change with fewer restrictions; Basic is non-refundable and its changes are limited. A 24-hour window can apply to tickets bought in the US. Have your reservation code ready and call us, or manage it at aeromexico.com.

What happens if Aeroméxico cancels or delays my flight?+

You're generally entitled to rebooking on the next available flight or a refund; extra rights can apply by route and cause. Seats fill quickly, so call us right away and we'll re-route you.

What is Aeroméxico Rewards and how does it work?+

Aeroméxico Rewards is Aeroméxico's loyalty program (formerly Club Premier). You earn and redeem points on Aeroméxico and SkyTeam partners for flights and upgrades. Give us your number when booking and we'll add it to your reservation.

How do I travel with a pet or as an unaccompanied minor on Aeroméxico?+
