About Allegiant Air
A quick profile of the carrier.
Allegiant Air is an ultra-low-cost leisure carrier that flies point to point, connecting smaller US cities directly to popular vacation spots rather than routing through big hubs. Its model is simple to describe: a low base fare, then you pay for the things you want, such as bags, seat selection and the Trip Flex change add-on. That keeps the headline price low but means the total depends on what you add. Allegiant does not sell connecting itineraries the way a network airline does, and it does not offer an unaccompanied-minor service.
Hubs & route network
Where the airline is based and where it flies.
Allegiant flies point to point rather than through a single connecting hub. It operates from around two dozen small and mid-size cities across the country, and its focus cities can change from season to season. A few of the busier points include:
Allegiant is point to point, not hub and spoke. Most routes connect a smaller home-city airport directly to a vacation destination, often only a few days a week. Because there is usually no connecting bank of flights, a cancelled Allegiant flight can be harder to rebook quickly, so it pays to act fast when plans change.

Fares & cabins, what's included
Allegiant flies a single economy cabin. What changes is not the class of service but how much legroom your seat has and what you have added to the base fare.
Not sure which fare fits your trip and budget? An agent can compare them for you on the call.

Baggage, the essentials
General guidance. On Allegiant almost every bag beyond a personal item costs extra, and adding bags in advance is cheaper than at the airport.
One personal item that fits under the seat is included free. This is the only bag that comes with the base fare.
Both a carry-on and checked bags cost extra on Allegiant, priced by route and how early you buy. Add them when you book to pay the least.
Heavier or larger bags and special items such as sports gear carry their own charges and limits. Arrange them in advance rather than at the gate.
We can confirm your exact allowance and pre-pay bags for you, just call.
Check-in & boarding
How to be ready on the day.
Allegiant online check-in on allegiantair.com and the Allegiant app generally opens well before departure and is the easiest way to confirm your seat and add bags. Printing a boarding pass at the airport kiosk or counter can carry its own fee, so checking in online first is worth it.
Because Allegiant flies point to point with limited daily frequencies, arrive with time to spare. If a flight is disrupted there may not be another Allegiant departure the same day, which makes getting help quickly more important than on a big network airline.
Allways Rewards loyalty program
The airline's frequent-flyer program.
Allegiant's loyalty and card program lets frequent leisure travelers earn toward future travel, and its co-brand credit card adds perks on Allegiant purchases and packages. It is a lighter program than the big airline networks. If you have an Allegiant account or card, mention it when booking and we will make sure it is on your reservation.
